Gip & Susan Gipson
Susan & Gip purchased The Ranch Harley-Davidson in July 2016 & opened the doors in August 2016. Gip retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years and joined Susan in the H-D World. Susan grew up in her Grandfathers H-D Dealership in East Tennessee and went on to make a name for herself. Susan & Gip worked at a dealer group on the coast of South Carolina before landing in San Antonio, Texas at another major dealer. After spending nearly 10 years with that dealer, the opportunity to purchase their own dealer finally presented itself! In such a short time, they have led the best team in the business to win multiple awards such as the prestigious Harley-Davidson Bar & Shield Award every year we've been eligible! It's safe to say they don't just talk the talk, they walk the walk. You can be sure to see them on their customized motorcycles every Sunday bar hopping when The Ranch H-D is closed, or in their rocking chairs every day, right at the front doors! FUN FACT: Gipperdoodles LOVES hugs and make sure
Alex (Big Al) has grown up in the business working for her mom and learning everything she could teach. After starting in the Motorclothes Department, she branched off on her own. Alex and her son, Aaron, moved to College Station in 2012 to begin her role as Motorclothes Manager. She even met her future husband while they worked together at I H-D. After 3 years, she decided to join her parents in their search to open their own dealership. Turns out, she didn't have to go far. She moved into the Marketing role when The Ranch opened in 2016 and hasn't looked back! Alex bought her first motorcycle, a 2007 Sportster 883 Low, and has practically become a master rider when the battery isn't dead. We're not really sure what else to say about Big Al, she's got an office filled with Unicorns and picks the oddest nicknames for her co-workers that actually stick.
Parts & Accessories
Jimmy Tomahawk was raised by a pack of wild gypsy Wolves and he decided at 16 that he was going to be the BEST Parts Manager this side of the Mississippi. He loves spaghetti & meatballs, and he has serious aspirations to become a rodeo clown! Not to mention, he likes fast cars, cool bikes, whiskey, and anything American! He's worked for Susan and Gip at Caliente Harley-Davidson and Down Home Harley-Davidson over the past 12 years, and wouldn’t want any other bosses!
Before coming to The Ranch Harley-Davidson, Charlee was a Honda Ho (100% her words)! She rides a 2019 Harley-Davidson Iron1200 that she has made into a one-of-a-kind, Dynette! She came in to buy a bike, we offered her a job and she hasn’t left since! In her spare time, you'll find Big Chuck walking into the wrong house party or welding with her Ray-Bans instead of a hood. She also answers to many names such as, Chucky, Chuckers, Chuckles, Charlie Tuner, Chuckerdoodles, and Chuck Wagon! Help us keep it going by sending us your suggestions!
